Sacred Heart School – Tarawa, Kiribati

During my 2 year volunteer posting in Kiribati, I never did have a chance to visit Sacred Heart School.  Though no one is there now, VICS had volunteers in this school for many years.  Here’s what it looks like now.  The classrooms look empty and students are sitting on floors because it’s exam time.  Desks get moved into a central area where all students write exams at the same time.  So, never to fear, there ARE desks in the school!!
